My name is Maya Barkai and I am a freelance photographer based in NYC, a graduate of the School of Visual Arts’ Photography Department (2005).

I have great experience with fashion and product photography, as I am also a skilled retoucher.  When I don’t work on location, I photograph out of my personal studio, which is located on East 58th St. I own all camera and lighting equipment for such projects, and take pride in the styling and the clean aesthetics of my photographs. Some of my clients include the TriBeCa Film Festival, Delta Ailrlines, Honda Acura, MLB.com, MKG, and AFTAU, among others.
